Things to do in Nashville with Bebe

We love taking advantage of our city! This summer we have really enjoyed taking the stroller to our favorite spots all over Nashville. It can be hard to take a baby around a city as large as Nashville, but we’ve been surprised at how accommodating most places are, and we are thankful to be able to get out of the house and see our friends after COVID!

Cheekwood Botanical Garden

We love strolling all over their renovated trails to see the gardens and tucked away art sculptures around the Cheekwood Botanical Garden grounds. When you need a break from the heat you can tour the historic mansion or meander to the cafe on the side of the building for some refreshments! They also have a couple play ground on property.

Be sure to look at the website before your trip to see what seasonal happenings are going on- they do fun things from dog nights to cocktail crawls!

Fat Bottom Brewery

This is the most kid-friendly brewery in town! They have an awesome beer garden with corn hole and picnic tables to spread out on. Fat Bottom is nestled in a young family neighborhood, so you’re sure to see some strollers roll up after work! The best part- they have a changing table in their very clean bathrooms! (and their beer is pretty good too!)

Arrington Vineyards

Arrington is one of Nashville (or Franklin rather)’s best kept secrets! About 30 minutes from downtown Nashville is the beautiful rolling hills of Arrington Vineyards. You can grab a picnic table overlooking the vines and do a little wine tasting. There is usually live music on the weekends and it is super kid friendly! Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks- and a beach umbrella or pop up tent if you have one!

Radner Lake State Park

Radnor Lake is one of our favorite flatter parks in town that works well with the stroller! Note that it can get really crowded on the weekends and there is very little parking, so try to hit this one up on a weekday! This park is also not dog-friendly. Some of the trails are paved and others are mulch.

Big Bad Breakfast

I have to give Big Bad Breakfast on Charlotte Avenue a shout out because it was the first time that I saw a baby sling high chair that holds your infant carrier at the table! The staff is also super accommodating of babies and kids, and the restaurant is loud enough to tune out the baby babbling, so it is not distracting to other guests.

Hattie B’s

This is another great restaurant (several locations around town– there is a great one on 8th Avenue!) where you can eat indoor/outdoor in a casual environment. You order and pay at the front, so if baby isn’t having it- you can take it to go and head home! Hattie B’s is a staple for Nashville hot chicken too, so if you’re from out of town you should definitely add it to your list!
