I love finding cute preschool supplies for my toddler! Etsy has some great options for back-to-school that I just can’t live without! This year for Pre-K 3, we started the year with a monogrammed seersucker backpack with a matching lunch box and a CamelBack water bottle. See more of my back-to-preschool favorites below!
First up, is this precious monogrammed backpack from Etsy! I love this toddler size because it’s not too big for them to carry, and a water bottle fits perfectly in the side pocket!
If your kiddo is a bit younger and headed to daycare with bottles, I used this seersucker lunch box to keep the bottles cool until they got to daycare. You can include a small ice pack if needed, but our drive was less than 10 minutes, so we just threw the bottles in and went! Then, when our daughter got older, we used it for her lunchbox for preschool!
Next up are labels! I absolutely love the Minted Custom Name Labels for water or baby bottles, bento boxes, folders, etc. They hold up really well in the dishwasher. They have the cutest children’s name labels to choose from!
My favorite iron-on labels are from Namelabels. They have good design choices, and you can fit both a first and last name on them. I iron in these labels on all clothing, but especially outerwear.
I highly recommend these Camelback water bottles, if they have to provide their own. This water bottle runs around $15, and they are super durable! All of our other kids cups have broken or the designs have worn off, but these are built to last! I ended up throwing everything out, and we only have Camelbak children’s water bottles, with the Minted Custom Name Labels on them.
Next up, are these precious monogrammed hairbows. For those that have little girls headed to preschool, you can believe it that they’ll come home with the wrong bow, or maybe without one at all! I love these medium monogrammed bows from Wee Ones because they’ve helped our bows return home more often!
We also love Jefferies socks! We have to wear a uniform to our preschool, so these lace-cuffed socks are just precious with her little dress.
For back-to-school shoes for preschoolers, I always look to L’Amour Shoes. They’re definitely more well-known for church and special occasion children’s footwear, but their everyday wear options are hard to pass up! These shoes are extremely well-made and have a great variety of sizes! They start at infant crib walker sizes and go up through Toddler 13 and some even as high as Kid 1 and 2.
Make sure you have at least 2 pairs of school-appropriate shoes! My daughter’s shoes have come home covered in mud, paint, etc. and I was glad to have a spare so that I could wash the first pair!
For outerwear, I’ve been finding the best styles that complement her uniform at the Children’s Place. I got their solid cardigan monogrammed. Cardigans are easy for them to get on and off, and are perfect for fall and spring! I think they also look so sweet on littles!
I also recommend getting your toddler a good raincoat if you haven’t already! Drop-off is bound to be in a downpour more often than you’d think! You can’t go wrong with something that is in the school colors from Columbia, or I also have found cute printed raincoats from Baby Gap.
I’m also a huge fan of Baby Gap for toddler outwear in general! I believe they have some really good choices and styles that go with a lot. They’re not too bold and are high quality.
Last, but not least, don’t forget your preschool teacher gifts! I usually do Target gift cards, full-size candy bars, fun pens with a cute notebook, and monogrammed cups. I really get the best teacher gift ideas from Etsy. Last year I did these luggage tags and they were a hit! Make it your mission to find out what the teacher likes! I give a teacher gift about every two months and try to coordinate it with a holiday.
Good luck with the new school year! 🙂
